# Get Cited Local

> Get Cited Local tests whether an AI model with live web search (OpenAI, through its API) names a local business when asked the kind of question a customer would ask, shows who it names instead and the likely reasons, and fixes what is missing. It does not test the consumer ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or Perplexity apps directly, which can answer differently. It serves local and service-area businesses in the United States.

Every finding comes from live web research run on the day of the scan. If the research fails, no result is given.
